National Assembly to convene extraordinary session on May 2 to discuss personnel matters
(VOVWORLD) - Lawmakers will gather in Hanoi on Thursday afternoon for an extraordinary National Assembly session to discuss personnel matters, National Assembly Secretary General Bui Van Cuong said in a press release on Wednesday.
The National Assembly holds two regular sessions each year. An extraordinary session is convened if requested by the President, the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Prime Minister, or at least one-third of the total number of lawmakers.
